“Fallen Apple” Cocktail – Simmer + Sauce

Ingredients

• 1/4 red apple, cored, peeled, and cut into small pieces
• 2 1/2 ounces bourbon
• 1 once simple syrup
• 1/2 teaspoon sugar
• 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 1/2 ounce fresh pressed apple juice
• Apple slice, for garnish
• Cinnamon stick, or rosemary sprig for garnish (optional)
