- small lemon sized tamarind
- 10 to 15 Pitted dates
- 2 cups water
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- ½ tsp dry red chilli powder or rasam Powder
- ½ tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 TBSP jaggery
