- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Baking soda - Less than 1/2 tsp
- Buttermilk - 1 Cup
- Oil - 1/4 Cup
- Rock sugar powder / Dhaga misri powder - 1 Cup
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- Red gel food color - 6 to 7 drops
- Oil - For greasing
- Powdered sugar - For garnishing
