Cookwith - Warm Beer Cheese Dip with Crusty Bread

Ingredients

• 1 cup beer (lager or pale ale works best)
• 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
• 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
• 2 tbsp unsalted butter
• 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup whole milk
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1 small baguette or 4 thick slices of crusty bread, for serving
• Chopped chives or green onions, for garnish (optional)
