Ingredients

• 1 medium onion, diced
• 1 green bell pepper, diced
• 1 pound shaved steak or thinly sliced beef
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 4 cups beef broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1 water (optional, for thickening)
• 8 ounces provolone cheese, shredded
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Thinly sliced baguette or hoagie rolls for serving
