Ingredients

• 1 (28 oz) canned tomatoes, whole or diced, drained
• 1 small jalapeño pepper, chopped
• 1/2 small onion or 1 small shallot, minced
• 1 small garlic clove, minced
• 1 Tablespoon fresh parsley and cilantro, minced
• 1 Tablespoon, green onions, thinly sliced
• 1 Tablespoon lime or lemon juice
• salt, ground black pepper, to taste
