• 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
• 2 tablespoons cornstarch ((cornflour))
• 1 tablespoon Amaretto ((almond-flavored liqueur))
• 1/2 cup maple syrup
• 10 slices bacon
