• 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of potato soup

• 1 cup sour cream
• 2 yellow onions, diced
• 3 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
• 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
• 3 tbsp butter
• 1 cup milk
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 cups chicken broth
