Ingredients
- 12oz (340 g) sliced hulled fresh strawberries
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- ½ cup whipping (35%) cream
- ¼ cup icing sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 6 thick slices Pound Cake (see recipe below) or store-bought pound cake
- 1 tbsp melted butter
