• 8 thin slices deli ham
• 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 1/2 cup whole milk (for béchamel)
• 1 tbsp unsalted butter (for béchamel)
• 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (for béchamel)
• Pinch of nutmeg
• Fresh chives, finely chopped (for garnish)
• Freshly ground black pepper
