My favorite is Chocolate Cream Pie, but you can make cream pie four ways with this one single recipe. Chocolate, of course, plus Coconut, Vanilla and Banana
Ingredients
- 2 frozen pie shells (or pastry to line 2 10" pie pans)
- 1 litre of milk
- 125 grams granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 whole eggs
- 75 grams cornstarch
- 125 grams sugar
- 55 grams butter
- 300 mls whipping cream
