Beef/Lamb: Beef Stew

Ingredients

• � kilo of beef in pieces
• Oil
• 1 tablespoon of ground garlic
• 1 small chopped onion
• 1 medium chopped tomato
• � cup of peas (pre-cooked with water and salt)
• 1 small carrot in slices
• 2 celery stalks cut into 3 cm pieces
• 1 small turnip sliced
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 teaspoon of paprika
• 1 teaspoon of pepper
• salt to taste
