Crawfish-Pimento Mac and Cheese – Whitney Miller

Ingredients

• 3 cups gnocchi pasta shells (This is pasta shells that look like gnocchi. These are not potato gnocchi.)*
• 3 tablespoons butter, divided
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 2 cups whole milk
• 1 1/2 cups Spicy Pimento Cheese (see recipe below)
• 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
• 1 (12-ounce) package frozen crawfish tails, thawed and drained
• 3/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
• 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
