- 6 ounces semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate, roughly chopped into 1/2-inch pieces
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup (6 ounces) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
- 5 large eggs, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Kahlúa or brandy
- 2 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
