• 2 Tablespoon granulated sugar
• 5-6 Tablespoons ice water
• 3 Tablespoons amaretto liqueur
• 2 sticks unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
• 2 cans Montmorency tart cherries in water, drained
• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/4 cup chopped or slivered raw almonds
• 1 can Montmorency tart cherry pie filling
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
• 2 Tablespoons milk
