PATRIOTIC TOLLHOUSE Chocolate Chip COOKIE CAKE * Chocolate Ganache * Hint of CARAMEL or BUTTERSCOTCH

Ingredients

• 2-1/2 cups flour
• 1-1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 TB caramel or butterscotch syrup
• or ice cream topping
• 1-1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar (I like dark)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 eggs
• 1-1/4 cups milk (any kind ~ I used Oat milk here)
• 12 oz. pkg chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet, chocolate or a combination ~ I used milk here)
