• 4 pounds chicken (whole)
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 2 tablespoons salt
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 3 tablespoons dry spice rub (see below)
• 1 can beer
• 1 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
• 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground )
