Grilled Sticky Beef Short Ribs - Ted Reader

Ingredients

• ¾ cup hoisin sauce
• ¼ cup sweet rice vinegar
• ¼ cup soy sauce
• 1 lemon, zested and juiced
• 1-2 tsp chili crunch or sambal Oelek chili sauce
• 2-inch knob of fresh ginger minced, about 1 tbsp
• 6 cloves fresh garlic minced
• 1 green onion minced
• ½ cup chopped fresh herbs, a mix or a single of your favorite herbs (dill, cilantro, parsley, rosemary, thyme)
• Pinch black pepper
• ½ tsp sesame seeds
• ½ tsp sesame oil
• 8 pieces beef short ribs, cut 1/4 -1/2 inch thick, about 2 lbs.
• 2 tbsp steak spice
• 1 cup dark beer like a stout or porter
