Ham and Pea Soup Recipe with step by step instructions and photos
Ham and Pea Soup is one of my favourites, particularly on a cold day. This is a good way to use leftover ham, quite inexpensive, and very tasty.
Ingredients
- 2 oz butter
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons plain flour (all purpose flour)
- 3 pints ham stock (from a stock cube)
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 lb frozen peas
- salt and pepper
- ½ lb cooked ham
- 2 sprigs parsley
