Ingredients

• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
• ⅔ cup granulated sugar
• ¾ cup (packed) dark brown sugar ((fine to substitute light brown))
• 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 large eggs
• ¾ teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 cups all-purpose flour, (spooned into measuring cup and leveled-off)
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
