• 180 g (3/4 cup + 2 tbsp) of lightly salted butter
• 160 g (3/4 cup + 2 tbsp) of sugar
• 100 g (1/2 cup) of sugar for the batter
• 60 g (1/4 cup + 2 tbsp) for the pears
• 180 g (4 medium-sized) eggs
• 180 g (1 1/2 cups) flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 30 g (2 tbsp) Armagnac
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 50 g (1/2 cup) pecans
