Ingredients

• 250g butter
• 250g natural yoghurt
• 2 eggs
• 1 ½ cups flour
• 3/4 cups sugar
• 2 tsp dried lavender
• 1 vanilla bean (split and scraped for its seeds)
• 1 lemon (finely grated for lemon zest and squeezed for lemon juice)
• 3/4 tsp baking soda
• 3/4 tsp cream of tartar
• A generous pinch of salt
