There is nothing better then a comforting, hearty plate of spaghetti and meat sauce for dinner. Spaghetti and meat sauce are basically match made in heaven.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground lean beef or 1/2 lb ground Italian sausage and 1/2 lb ground beef
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves for serving
- spaghetti noodles, for serving
