• 1.5 lbs Chicken, bone-in chicken thigh or drumsticks
• 1/2 lbs Chicken Sausage, 2-3 links
• 1/2 Cup French Lentils, dried lentils
• 12 Oz Tomato Sauce, or canned crushed tomatoes with juice
• 1 Cup Sweet Potato, cubed, sweet potato or butternut squash
• 1 Cup White Onion, medium onion, small diced
• 1/2 tbsp Garlic, 2-3 cloves, minced
• 1 tbsp Ginger, 2 inch fresh ginger, grated, or 2 tsp ginger powder
• 3 tbsp Olive Oil
• 1 tsp Salt
• 4 tbsp Fresh Herbs, parsley or mint
• 1 tbsp Lemon, juice, more for serving
• 1 tbsp Whole Spices, ground, a tsp each of - coriander, black pepper, cinnamon, all-spice
• 1.5 tbsp Paprika, sweet paprika
• 1/2 tsp Chili Powder, or cayenne, or hot paprika
