Cotton Candy Cake Recipe - Colorful Birthday Dessert

• Pink and blue food coloring (or whatever colors make you happy)
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted to avoid lumps
• 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• Food coloring if you want colored frosting
• Real cotton candy (add this right before serving!)
• Fun sprinkles (optional but highly recommended)
