• The zest and juice of 1 orange
• 85 g (1/2 cup) of white granulated sugar
• 113 g (1/2 cup) of unsalted room-temperature butter
• 1 teaspoon of grains of paradise* (ground into a powder)
• 1 tablespoon (20g) of unsweetened apple sauce
• 240 g (2 cups) of all purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon of corn starch
• 1/4 teaspoon of salt
• 85 g (2/3 cup) of powder/icing sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon of grains of paradise (ground into a powder)
