• 2 cups (500 ml) cake and pastry flour
• 1 tbs (15 ml) baking powder
• 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
• 6 egg whites
• 1/2 tsp (2 ml) cream of tartar
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
• 6 egg yolks
• 1.5 cups (375 ml) sugar
• 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
• 1 cup (250 ml) double strength, brewed Zavida Caramel Royale Coffee, cooled
• 1 cup (250 ml) ground pecans
