The Zanzibar Cookie recipe by Mrs Ally

Ingredients

• 250g butter, softened
• 1 cup brown sugar
• ¾ cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 3 cups flour
• ¼ cup ground oats (just pulse oats in processor/coffee grinder)
• 1 heaped teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 150g good quality chocolate, chopped roughly (Lindt is delicious!)
• 2 generous handfuls pecans, roughly chopped and toasted
