Swamp Soup recipe - from the The Mitchell/Mays Family Cookbook Family Cookbook

Ingredients

• 1 medium onion
• 1 or 2 packages Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix
• 1 carton unsalted chicken broth. (I usually add 1/2 of second can)
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon hot sauce
• 1 pound sausage (I use turkey sausage & a little Cajun Conecuh)
• Rice to desired amount (I use a family bag of Success)
• 1 pound frozen turnip greens
• 2 cans Great Northern Beans
• 1 can Balck-eyed Peas
