- 1/2 cup icing sugar, sifted
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 vanilla bean, split and seeds scraped
- 1 cup almond meal
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, sifted
- 150 g butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 1 orange, washed, the zest removed in a long strip
- 375 ml water
- 340 g caster sugar
