Cream Of Oats Soup recipe by Ruhana Ebrahim

Ingredients

• 4 large potatoes
• 1 medium onion
• ¾ cup jungle oats
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon white pepper
• ½ teaspoon ground green chillies
• pinch turmeric
• 1 small onion (thinly sliced)
• 500g chicken fillet (cubed)
• ½ cup frozen mixed veg or sweetcorn (or may use creamstyle corn instead)
• 1 teaspoon ground green chillies
• pinch ground garlic paste
• 250ml fresh cream
• fresh dhania (coriander) (chopped)
