Gingerbread yule log recipe

Ingredients

• 3 medium free range egg whites
• 150 g caster sugar
• 150 g unsalted butter, softened
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 100 g white chocolate, melted
• 2 tbsp ginger syrup, from a jar of stem ginger
• 1 pinch cinnamon and ginger, to dust
• 4 large free range eggs
• 125 g light brown sugar
• 1 tbsp black treacle
• 2 tbsp honey
• 125 g plain flour
• 1 tbsp ground ginger
• 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
