Seedcake Recipe from Middle Earth: A Hobbit's Delight

Ingredients

• 0.5 lb (227 g) of butter (2 sticks )
• 0.75 cup of sugar
• 0.5 tsp of ground nutmeg
• 0.25 tsp of ground mace
• 1 tbsp of seeds ( caraway is traditional, but I like poppy seeds )
• 3 eggs
• 0.25 cup of brandy
• 2 cups of flour
