Barbecued Chicken for a Crowd

Ingredients

• Sweet Tomato BBQ Glaze
• 3 tbsp (45 mL) vegetable oil
• 2 onions, finely chopped
• 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
• 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
• ½ cup (125 mL) packed dark brown sugar
• ½ cup (125 mL) distilled white vinegar
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) Worcestershire sauce
• 1¼ tsp (6 mL) salt
• 1 tsp (5 mL) ground ginger
• ½ tsp (2 mL) cayenne pepper
• Chickens
• 2 whole chickens (3½ lbs/ 1.5 kg each), cut into 10 pieces each
