• ¼ tsp salt
• 1 tsp light oil
• ¼ cup salted butter
• 6 cups onions, thinly sliced
• 1 Tbsp fresh chopped thyme
• ¾ cup beef stock
• ½ tsp onion powder
• 1 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
• 3 cups grated Swiss cheese
