Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie - PhoenixBites - PhoenixBites

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
• 1 tsp. kosher salt
• 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
• 8 oz. unsalted butter (cut into 1/2 inch pieces)
• 1/4 cup cold water ((more if needed))
• 1/4 cup cold vodka
• 4 cups peacans (toasted)
• 6 eggs
• 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
• 1 1/3 cups corn syrup (honey, agave, or brown rice syrup are also good substitutes )
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
• 6 Tbsp. good quality bourbon (if you wouldn't drink it I wouldn't cook with it)
• 1 1/2 cups bittersweet or semisweet chocolate chips or chunks
• 1 cup heavy cream (cold)
• 1/4 cup powdered sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
• 1 Tbsp. high quality bourbon (optional)
