Scones Recipe
Scones I think Marmite is the English equivalent of Vegemite. I haven't tried these as yet but they do sound good. This recipe comes from my English Marmite cookbook. Enjoy
Ingredients
- l lb Self raising Flour
- 3 oz margarine
- 2 teasp Marmite yeast extract
- l teasp mustard powder
- pinch salt
- 4 oz cheddar cheese, grated
- about 1/2 pint milk
