Ingredients

• 1/3 cup (75 mL) Ontario salted or unsalted butter, softened
• 1/2 cup (125 mL) packed brown sugar
• 2 tsp (10 mL) rum extract
• 2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla extract
• 3/4 cup (175 mL) Ontario whipping (35%) cream, divided
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) confectioners’ (icing) sugar
• 2 cups (500 mL) boiling water
