• 1 tablespoon firm butter or margarine
• 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup fresh peaches (chopped )
• 1/2 cup coarsely pecans (chopped )
