Meringue Tarts with Chantilly Cream and Fresh Strawberries
I love strawberries. So much so I have planted over 400 strawberry plants at the Garden Home Retreat. Here is a super easy strawberry dessert that is perfect for cocktail parties or luncheons.
Ingredients
- 3 egg whites, room temperature
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 quarts fresh strawberries
