Ingredients

• 4-5 rashers streaky bacon, cooked
• 1 cup flour
• ¼ cup + 2 tbsp white sugar
• 1 tbsp baking powder
• ¼ tbsp ground nutmeg
• ¼ tbsp ground cinnamon
• ½ tbsp salt
• ¼ cup + 2 tbsp buttermilk
• 1 egg, beaten
• ½ tbsp vanilla
• 1½ tbsp butter, melted
