Ingredients

  • 225 g/8 oz waxy potatoes
  • ½–1 fresh, hot green chilli, very finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon roasted cumin seeds, ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoon ground coriander seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ¾ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 medium-sized cauliflower (you need 450 g/1 lb of florets)
  • 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
