• 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatos & green chilis (regular or milder)
• 2 lbs ground beef (chuck)
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup beef broth
• salt
• fresh ground pepper
• 16 pita pockets
• 2 cups chopped tomatoes
• 2 cups chopped lettuce
• 2 cups chopped onions
