• salt and ground black pepper, to taste
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 large onion, chopped
• 2 tomatoes, chopped
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• ⅓ cup chopped parsley
• 1 tsp paprika
• 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 3 cups beef broth
• 2 tbsp butter
• cooked rice
