Ingredients
- 2 cups all pupose flour
- ¼ cup light brown cane sugar, or coconut palm sugar
- ¼ cup natural cane sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ⅓ cup neutral oil*, (can use melted butter)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
