All the pieces in this stew are chopped about the same size (small) for fast even cooking. I used canned potatoes.

- 1/2 pound stewing beef (cut in marble sized pieces)
- 1 1/2 pounds potatoes ( 6 new potatoes)
- 2 pounds sweet potatoes (4 potatoes, chopped)
- 3 pounds turnips (2 turnips, chopped)
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1/4 cup parsley, minced
- 100 grams pearl onions (6)
- 6 cups beef stock
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/16 teaspoon salt
- 1/16 teaspoon pepper
