Hal & Mal’s Sweet Potato Pecan Pie – Bass Pecan

Ingredients

• 1 9” unbaked pie shell
• 1 cup boiled mashed sweet potatoes
• 1/3 cup light brown sugar
• 1 T plus 1 tsp light Karo syrup
• 1 T plus 1 tsp dark Karo syrup
• Pinch of salt
• 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
• Pinch of ground all spice and nutmeg
• 1 egg
• 1 T vanilla
• 2 tsp half and half
• 1/4 cup dark Karo syrup
• 1/4 cup light Karo syrup
• 1/2 cup light brown sugar
• Pinch of ground cinnamon
• 1 1/4 cup of Shelled Pecan Halves or Bass Pecan Pieces
