- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 quart chicken broth (or three 10.5 ounce cans)
- 1/2 cup chopped green peppers
- 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
- 1 pint (16 ounces) picante sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
