• 1 cup milk (scalded to 125 degrees or directions on yeast pkg)
• 1 pkg Instant yeast
• 1 egg slightly beaten
• 4 cups flour (or 3 1/2 @ high altitude) (fork the container of flour before measuring)
• more softened butter
• 3/4 cups brown sugar
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• raisins
• optional nuts, other dried fruits
