Ingredients

• A few splashes of olive oil
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• Sea salt
• 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
• 1/2 red chilli, finely chopped (more or less, to taste)
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
• 1/2 cinnamon stick
• 1 heaped tsp mustard seeds
• 1 heaped tsp cumin seeds
• 1 heaped tsp turmeric powder
• 1/2 white (or a firm green) cabbage, finely shredded
• 1/2 tin of coconut milk
• A bit of lemon or lime zest and juice
